A single-page portfolio website.
When I developed my first portfolio website I wanted to embrace my traditional, fine art background, while also pushing the boundaries of what was considered "standard" in web design. A horizontal scrolling, one-page portfolio site provided the platform for me to do both.
The background illustration is a continuous narrative of my version of Jack and Jill, handdrawn using a quill and ink across the span of about 12 feet of paper. Digitizing this illustration, adding color and setting it as the backdrop for my website added the element of storytelling and fun to an otherwise simple interface.
